2.1 Information You Provide
- Email Address: Required to send you analysis results
- Uploaded Images: Images you submit for ambiguity analysis
2.2 Information Automatically Collected
- IP Address: Temporarily stored for rate limiting purposes (expires after 1 hour)
- Timestamp: Date and time of your request
- Analysis Results: Ambiguity scores and classifications generated for your images
3. How We Use Your Images
Important: We DO NOT store your uploaded images.
Your images are processed in memory only and immediately discarded after analysis. Here's how it works:
- Your browser converts the image to base64 format
- The image is sent to our inference server (Modal.com) for analysis
- Our AI model processes the image and calculates ambiguity scores
- The image is immediately deleted from memory
- Only the numerical scores are returned and stored
Your original images are never saved to disk, database, or any persistent storage.
4. Data We Store
We store the following information in Cloudflare KV (key-value storage):
- Email address
- Ambiguity score (numerical result of analysis)
- Classification (high/medium/low)
- Timestamp (date and time of analysis)
- IP address (temporary, expires after 1 hour, used only for rate limiting)
5. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To analyze your images and send results to your email
- Rate Limiting: To prevent abuse and ensure fair usage (5 requests per hour per email, 10 per hour per IP)
- Usage Analytics: To understand service usage patterns and improve our product
- Beta Testing: To validate commercial viability and gather feedback
We do NOT:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Use your images for training AI models
- Share your email address with marketers
- Track your browsing behavior across other websites
6. Cookies and Tracking
We do not use cookies or any tracking technologies.
Our service does not set any cookies in your browser. We do not use localStorage, sessionStorage,
or any client-side tracking mechanisms. All necessary data is provided explicitly by you (email and image).
7. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We share your information with the following third-party services:
7.1 Modal.com (Inference Provider)
- Data Shared: Your uploaded image (in memory only, not stored)
- Purpose: GPU-based inference for ambiguity detection
- Privacy: Images are processed in memory and immediately discarded
7.2 MailChannels (Email Delivery)
- Data Shared: Your email address and analysis results
- Purpose: To send you the analysis results via email
- Privacy: MailChannels is GDPR-compliant and does not use your data for marketing
7.3 Cloudflare (Infrastructure Provider)
- Data Shared: All data processed through our service
- Purpose: Hosting, CDN, and KV storage
- Privacy: Cloudflare is GDPR-compliant and SOC 2 certified
8. Data Retention
- Images: Not stored (deleted immediately after processing)
- Email and Analysis Results: Stored indefinitely for analytics and service improvement
- IP Address (Rate Limiting): Automatically expires after 1 hour
